Update.

Sorry for not updating for awhile. 

Ash and I are in the mist of planning our next trip in May. I shall wait till the airline ticket is book then I'll announce. 

Ash and I are trying to cut down our expenses so we agree to only go restaurants twice a month. 

Why twice? 

Because I will treat Ash one expensive meal per month and he will treat me.

Not because we are saving for flat or what not, but because we feel our expenses are too high. 

Being thrifty isn't a bad thing right? (:

My all time favourite prawn noodles. 

Its the BOOM. 

I also love the prawn noodles near my house.

This is one of the "twice a month" spluge. 

A newly found place when we are around that area. 

I have been slacking during the festive period, so I made a promise to myself that I will spend more time to exercise this month.

Back on mat at least twice a week. 

This milk ice cream is so nice and smooth with caramel syrup drench over it. 

I dont really like the honey and honey comb, because it has those raisins aftertaste. 

Guo en went BKK over the month of December. 

He got me all of the above. The polka dots is actually a tote bag. 

I love it when people went oversea and buy me gifts.

Ash got capitamall voucher during his company christmas party. 

And he gave it to me, so I went to got myself a gold edition eliffel tower to add onto my pandora bracelet. 

Cant wait to fill it up but one charm is so expensive! *jawdrop*

Ang Mo Kio Hawker

I mega love food!

I am trying to cut down carbo so that i won't gain weight so easily.

HAHA.

This pot of treasure is so awesome!

It is actually fish head steamboat, but it has a lot of fish meat inside too.

Forgot how much my parents pay for it though.

We also order one more kangkong which i think is so so only.

This is also another da bomb.

It is the oyster omelette. OH GOSH. See for yourself, the amount of oyster is so worth.

Anyway, all these food are located at Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 Blk 409 Hawker.

September Monthly Affair

HELLO!

I am back after a long long time. Sorry for not updating as often as i used to.

Last friday, peeps and i decided to have our monthly affair even though some of them might not make it.

But its ok! I enjoyed with the rest.

This month is my turn to plan the outing. 

With the suggestion of the steamboat from tyler, I brought them to my long ago steamboat at bugis.

It is called 重庆正宗老火锅. You guys can googled it.

I used to hang out with my secondary school mates whom i don't even wanna remember about now.

But i do enjoy my friday night with peeps because we talk about anything.

And the content of our chit chat really epic to the max.

 After steamboat we head over to Ah chew dessert. It is my all time favorite dessert store.

It is always nice to have a clique to hang out at work because everyone make an effort to be bonded.

Next month we will heading to JB for LOK LOK.

By the way, I got my confirmation letter last week and I treated my department and project department bubble tea as a form of celebration.

I am starting really learning a lot and I am grateful to have a very good project superintendent.

He really thought me a lot a lot. 

SAVEUR

I went out with ashraff yesterday to eat at one of the cheapest french restaurant in sg.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant after reading food blog.

The shop open at 6pm. However, we reach at 530pm.

Thinking that we still have time, we just went to bras bersar complex to walk around.

When we reach back at the restaurant at 545pm, we saw long queue.

Super regretted that we didnt wait outside!

We leave our names and hoping that we got in the first seating!

YAY! We are the last to go in for the first seating.

We quickly ordered our food and waited for it.

Our food came about 15 mins later. 

Consider quite fast for the amount of people in the restaurant.

 

While waiting for our food, this is what i saw on the wall of the restaurant.

I forgot to take a photo of Ashraff starters.

All i remember was it is something related to duck. HAHA.

Mine is foie gras with red wine and it cost only sgd $9.90!

Where to find such a good deal?

Both of us ordered Duck Confit.

If i am not wrong, the price should be around sgd 10 only!

I love how the duck is being cooked.

Crispy on the outside and very juicy inside.

i feel so satisfied after this main course.

I forgot what Ashraff ordered. But mine was Taste of Citrus.

Super nice la.

The food is really really awesome.

I can't imagine for the price we pay, the quality of food is really awesome.

The food is really of standard! and is really really cheap.

For your info, if you are looking for quality french food in sg, you should have pay 100+ for your meal.

But at this restaurant, we had 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts. We paid only $75 in total.

WOW right?

The downside is this restaurant doesn't have escargots.

I miss escargots! :(

It is awesome when i find cheap and good deal.

I love food hunting.

I am gonna visit more cheap and good restaurant soon! (:
