HONG KONG TRIP 2013: DAY 1

I understand that noone really give a description on forums or blogs so i will try my best to give you guys the clearest navigation as i can.

This time round we took Jetstar because there was a promotion going on and each adult ticket is only $300.
Initially, we book a room at lily guest house but it was too freaky from the forum so I change to B.P International.
The hotel lobby looks very high class, room was clean but a little too small.
But it was fine with us because we already know the room will be small. HAHA.
I will stay there again because it is so accessible and clean.

I went there for 9D8N.

Our flight is at 630am.
So we took a cab and reach around 445am at Changi Airport terminal 1 for check in.
We had nasi lemak for breakfast before boarding.
And I knocked out the minute i board the plane due to the 3 hours of sleep the night before!

We reached Hongkong at 1010am.

The cheapest and the fastest way to head to hotel is by taking their airport express.
Purchase Train ticket at a counter near the exit of the custom.
One person cost HKD90, 3 person is only HKD180 to reach Kowloon.
Which means the bigger your group, the cheaper it gets.
When you see this signboard, just head straight!

Continue walking....

This is the stops on the airport express line.
Do note that some hotels do provide free shuttle bus services at Kowloon.
As for B.P. International House, you alight at Kowloon station on the airport express line,
Follow the signboard when you alight at Kowloon station.
It will lead to the bus station, B.P International customers just need to take K4.
All this bus services from hotels to Kowloon Airport Express line or vis versa, all is FREE!

To be honest, Hongkong MTR are all damn expensive!
It is more expensive than singapore.

We arrived at 12pm but we are only check in our room at 2pm.
We left our luggage at the counter, and off we went to hunt for food.

Everyone use the tea to wash their utensils. DAMN HYGIENE! I like.
Their chinese is damn messy and is those traditional chinese wordings on the wall of restaurant,
so difficult to read!
Their food is so HUGE PORTION! I can't finish this plate of pineapple rice.
I don't know the meaning of the words so i just anyhow order, end up is pineapple rice. HAHA.
I also ordered their milk tea.
DAMN SHIOK!
My mum is the only one who know how to talk in canto and understand canto.
So all the ordering is done by her.

CHECK IN TIME!
I forgot to take a photo of the rooms.
(Do google B.P International.)

Off we went to Mongkok for shopping since we are only left with half a day!

Walking to Jordon MTR.
It is best to purchase Octopus card, which is like our ezlink card when traveling there.
Mine was given by ryden because he went hongkong two weeks before me.
My mum's lady boss is a hongkonger. So she pass two octopus for my mum and bro.

Off we went to Mongkong!
First stop is langham place, which is located at Mongkong station exit C2.
All the brands you can think of are all there. I head over to H&M!
They are having sales. so everything is dirt cheap!
Bandage skirt is only $4.90!

Then we went to into their market place. A supermarket where sg also have.
I tried their caramel sugar croissant bread. MAD AWESOME. so nice~

Next we head over to New Town Mall and Argye centre.
Mongkok exit D2.
This two buildings are connected to each other at level 3/4 onwards.
I bought quite a number of things there.

Look at the crowd! super crowded.

We were all damn tired! SO we wanna find a place to chill for a while.
Xiu liu shan is all over hongkong! You can spot one anywhere.
We tried this two. Forgot the names though.
I have to say xiu liu shan is really better in hongkong.
mangoes are fresher there!

when you wanna get to Fa Yuen Street, you need to cross this bridge because it is at the opposite end.
BE careful when you cross this bridge! there is a lot of people asking you for donation.

mommie wanna go explore Fa Yuen Street.
Fa Yuen Street is at Mongkok station exit D3.

The things aint my type la.
But there are shophouse behind all these tents. The things in the shop is much more fashionable.

Spotted softer ice cream van.
Singapore 7 eleven used to sell this ice cream. We are all too full to buy this.

We walked non stop that day till 7pm. Our legs couldn't take it anymore.
We headback to our hotel for a rest and head over to temple street which is just opposite of our hotel for dinner.

Thats all for day 1! Shall blogged day 2 soon!
