KOH GRILLED & SUSHI BAR

I think food has been one of my motivation this semester due to stressful modules.

Even though this semester we have the least modules but all the credits are quite high.

So all i look forward to is food hunting every week or two week.

I think many of you have heard of "shiok" maki.

Do you guys know where to have it?

A lot of my friends posted on instagram and i have been wanting to try it.

So this week, ash and i went to tried out.

I am so glad i found a good kaki who is also my good friend! (:

But before we had our dinner, I need to see dermatologist as I am having major outbreak.

I will blogged about dermatologist in another blogpost soon.

I had KOI, macarons from  mandarin gallery and visited Prada shop at paragon on the same day.

Introduced Ash to drink ice cream milk tea, my all time favourite drink.

Everytime when I visit KOI, I will either order ice cream milk tea or yakult green tea.

So that day i had yakult green tea because of the "AWESOME" weather. HAHA.

The macarons was MEH!

Anyway, i love macarons and i have high expectation for it.

I am glad when we reach the sushi bar, it was still early so it is super empty.

Got seated within 5 minutes.

AND after we ordered and our drinks came, the queue was OMG!

I did tried calling up to make reservation that morning, however, no more reservation for the day.

WE ARE JUST SO LUCKY! ^^

Salmon sashimi.

It is fresh and taste like any other shop. Nothing special.

Pork belly with Asparagus.

This is my favourite!!!!

The juice in the pork belly burst out inside my mouth together with the crunchy asparagus!

100% recommended.

Last but not the least, the Shiok maki.

There is shiok maki and another is shiok maki generation 2.

This is the normal shiok maki.

The taste is unique. However, when you eat a few pierces, you get sick of it.

I guess it is because of the excessive amount of mayo.

It will be good to have more people sharing.

Nevertheless, I think it is really worth trying. (:

Anyway, this days, I feel it is difficult for everyone to get together because of school work and objective.

Some just like to spend more on alcohol rather than food.

plus, money is forever an issue to them.

And i LOVE pork. So it is difficult to ask people to eat too.

Everytime i ask them out, it seems like begging them. Not those steady enough type.

HELLO! It is food hunting again.

Simply because I love food. 

So whenever there is places recommended by anyone, i will be there to try.

Maybe not as instant as i used to go, but i will definitely visit nice food places whenever i can.

It need not to be a restaurant. I love hawker food as well too! (:

This time is ITACHO again.

It is my 4th time visiting there. But i only blogged about it once?

The first time i didnt really say about the food there because i went with my gf, vanessa.

To be honest, the food there is damn nice especially the raw food.

Then i went with liqi. But liqi doesn't eat raw food, so we didnt order at all.

Back to this time round, I went with ashraff sometime back.

I always told him how fresh itancho sushi is! To my surprise, he love japanese food like i do.

So i meet him straight at plaza sing and he is late!

I am the one who queue for the seat lor. What is wrong with guys nowadays??? SIGH!

How do you guys determine if the food is nice or not?

For me, i go for freshness. The problem with most sushi shop is that their food got a fishy smell.

It is disgusting for me.

Itancho is well known for its fresh raw sashimi.

My mommie always say to me that raw food will grow worms in your brain.

I don't know how true is it. But till date, i am still eating raw food and i love salmon sashimi the most!!!

HAHAHAHA! I guess if my mommie knows i keep eating raw food, my ears will be in pain again.

This is ordered by ashraff. It is fried scallops.

Baby abalone sushi.

I love abalone! And it is ashraff first time eating abalone.

It is my first time eating this dish even though i came here before.

Raw scallops with only the outside partly grilled.

I love the one in orange colour sauce.

You can actually find this on those promo section.

If i didnt recall wrongly, it is half price!

I remember us ordering yellow tail too. But i think i forgot to take photo of it. Ooops.

Grilled pork.

I love this too. Damn juicy!

Roasted foie gras.

I think everyone knows i love french food, japanese food and italian food the most.

Besides my favourite escargots, Foie gras is a must in french food.

So anyone eat foie gras sushi before?

I only see Itacho sells foie gras sushi before.

It is my second time eating this. Melt in the mouth lo!

Lobster salad sushi.

A must to order too.

The only problem with itancho is that the queue is super long.

Especially when you are dinning in a big group. You got to queue even longer.

But after all, it is worth queuing for the quality of food!

It is by far the best japanese food i have ever eaten.
