BUSY BUSY BUSY

So sorry if I didnt update my blog for the longest time.

I have been OTing  and heading to mega yard every single day for the past 3 weeks.

I am always dead beat by the time I reach home.

My project crop up so it need to be in the dry dock for some repair.

So I head there everyday to check the progress. 

I have to really thanks all the managers and colleagues who give me ride to mega yard and back.

And my bf for picking me up every time I OT.

There is one day my bf has to go sch, my colleague send me home! OMG.

He is so kind. HAHAHA.

My bf is busy preparing with exams. I am busy with work. 

We both can't wait for next month to come. Our long awaiting California trip!

Thank you for everything you have done for us.

Without your leadership and determination, we won't be here we are today.

We may not understand all your intentions behind all your policies, but you make us proud to be a singaporean.

All lives come to an end. The goal is not to live forever, but create something that will.

You have make a massive change in Singapore. 

From nothing to one of the top leading country in the world.

Valentine Day

"I don't like flowers, but I love food."

I request Ash not to buy any flowers for me this year.

I don't want him to waste unnecessary money like what he did last year.

To be honest, flowers are really waste of money.

And it will die within a week. 

So I told him, a yummy dinner will do.

The restaurant he brought me to is where he ate before.

The food is super yummy and the price is affordable. Totally worth visiting again!

Especially the squid Ink Pasta. So YUMS.

Bangkok 2015

Every year without fail, my family will head to BKK to have our Chinese New year over there.

This year my cousin and aunt were with us as well.

Our Itinerary is as follows:

Our Mini Getaway Plan

Ash and I have just bought our airline ticket to USA. 

I am so excited and heartpain at the same time. 

It is my first time going to the states but it costs me a bomb!
I can feel my pocket burning. Ash tried to help me to pay some of the hotel, but i refuse.
I feel if I wanna travel, I wanna travel with my own money.
Afterall, he paid for his own things too. I can't add onto his burden right?
Even though I know he don't mind. HAHA.

We are going the May and traveling by United Airlines. 

We will be landing in SF and travel down the west coast area, LA,SD, grand canyon and LV then back to SF to catch a flight back home.

This trip will be a special trip as our anniversary will be spend there. 

We will be on heli tour to grand canyon on that day and after that, we will have our dinner at one of the restaurants. We are researching on which restaurant to go to. Any recommendations? 

Here are some of our plan, comment below if you have any recommendation.

Things we plan to do this trip: 

SF - Lombard St, Golden gate, some museums and Alcatraz Tour. 

On the way to LA, we will be driving by Pacific Coast and will spend a night there with sunset. 

LA - Universal studio, hollywood tour and factory outlet store.

SD - San Diego Zoo.

LV - heli tour to Grand Canyon, stripz.

Places that we will be staying:
SF: Fusion Hotel
LA: Airbnb 

Pacific coast: Big Sur Lodge

SD: Days hotel
LV: Treasure Island Hotel and Casino

Everything was booked and insurance was bought except for the heli tour and rental of car. 

We will be researching on the weather and more on food next. 

Weather is important as we do not wanna be underdress or overdress.

Changing of currency as well?

USD is so freaking high now, I think it is because of the oil price!

Hopefully it drops!

I might be doing a post on things to look out for before flying off. What do you guys think?

I doubt this will be the last trip to the states. 

Ash and I was talking about it the other day,  if we ever head back to the states again, we will wanna travel to canada to visit Nigara falls then head up to Alaska. 

Chinese New year is coming! 

This year as usual, I am heading to BKK with my family. I cant wait to go shopping again! Hopefully there is nice stuff this time.

Sadly, Ash birthday falls on the first day of cny. I wouldnt be able to celebrate with him.
Don't worry, I do prepare present in advance.
Furthermore, it is valentine day this saturday.
How time flies... We had been together for almost two years now.

Yes, we feel closer and happier being together. We enjoy doing things together every saturday.
And best part, we seldom quarrel and we love each other.
We have discuss our future and are sure how it will goes.
So we shall see! (:

The wedding which feels more like clubbing instead. 

I am very close with this bunch of people who make my work more fun and enjoyable.

They are ultimate good drinker. When you are with them, it is impossible not to drink.

Ash knows them and he drink with them before too. 

He say they are very mature in their mindset yet know how to enjoy themselves. Indeed.

Below is what happens when you drink too much. 

They drank freaking three bottles of Mccallan, 6 jars of beer, and 3 bottles of wine.

After that they are freaking high! I am high too, but lucky Ash came to fetch me after that. Heh.

And guess what?

I got scolded. HAHA. Cos I vomited when we went out of the car. But that night was so fun!
